Ingredients
  

  • 240 g canned white beans 1pcs 400g- net 240
  • 60 g new onion 1 medium thread
  • 8 g spicy paprika 2,5 pcs
  • 15 g garlic 2-3 cloves
  • 15 g cumin 1 pc
  • 2 g salt 1 pc
  • 3 g smoked paprika 1 pc
  • 1 g curry 1 pc
  • 2 tk worchester
  • 3 tk soy sauce
  • 2 e olive oil
  • 15 g ground cumin 1 pc
  • 20 g oatmeal 2 eq
  • 20 g oatmeal apro grain 2 eq

Equipment

  • 1 Medium mixing bowl
  • 1 potato masher or fork
  • 1 cutting board
  • 1 sharp knife
  • 1 Frying pan or griddle
  • 1 spatula or spatula shovel

Method
 

  1. Drain the canned white beans thoroughly and pour into a medium mixing bowl. Mash thoroughly with a potato masher or fork until it is mashed, but there may be small pieces left.
  2. Finely chop the spring onions and garlic. Add the other ingredients to the mashed beans: chopped onion and garlic, paprika, cumin, salt, smoked paprika, curry, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, ground cumin, oatmeal flour and oatmeal flakes.

  3. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly to obtain a homogeneous, malleable mass. Form into about 2 equal scones. Leave the scones to rest for at least 10 minutes to allow the flavours to blend and the oatmeal to absorb the moisture.

  4. Frying: Heat a frying pan or griddle over a medium heat. Place the scones on top and fry both sides until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes per side, or until cooked through.

  5. Serve immediately, fresh, in a burger patty or on a bed of lettuce, with any toppings and sauces.
